Master Instructor Darrell Lee (Senior Technical Instructor) ( Inventor
of the Technical Baton )
Mr. Lee developed the Technical Baton in the year 2000 as an arrest assist tool. He based the movements of the
Technical Baton on training received from the Defensive Tactics Curriculum from his B.L.E.Training and his over 21 yrs
of Martial Arts Training and currently holds 4th Dan (Black). He has personally used the Technical Baton in several aspects
of his law enforcement duties ranging from a 'Terry Frisk' of a detained subject to actual officer defense against combative
assailant(s), to humane pressure point activation to subdue an agitated mentally ill subject refusing to comply with order
of commitment and transfer to a mental health facility.
